The
Integrated Teaching System from New Riders is a
complete program to aid you, the
instructor, in preparation
for your course and to help prepare your students for their
certification exams. With the help of step-by-step
instructions, practice tests, and support materials on the
CD-ROM, you'll be able to teach your students how to apply
the relevant concepts they need to master their
certification.
The Instructor Resource Manual (IRM) is a
cornerstone to the Integrated Teaching System. Within each
chapter, the manual guides you through how and when to use
additional supplemental items, ExamGearl, PowerPoint@
slides, and web enhancements to increase student
comprehension. In addition, this IRM contains exam
objectives, lecture outlines, course preparation notes,
exam advice, teaching tips, class activities, discussion
topics, additional review and exam questions, and advice on
the end-of-the chapter exercises from each chapter of the
companion Training Guide.
Use this IRM in conjunction with Server+
Certification Training Guide. The Server+ exam measures
your students' competencies in advanced PC hardware issues
such as RAID, SCSI, multiple CPUs, SANs, and more. This
exam is targeted at mid- and upper-level technicians with
18-24 months of experience, who are responsible for
hardware functionality, such as installation,
troubleshooting, and support (including second level
support).
